Bobbi Brown is the new editor-in-chief at Yahoo Beauty.

The makeup mogul posted this comment yesterday on her blog, Everything Bobbi, along with the photo shown of herself with Yahoo’s VP of Global Communications at the company’s headquarters:

“In recent months, Yahoo has been working to put together an all-star editorial team, including Katie Couric, David Pogue, Virginia Heffernan, and Matt Bai — all writers and journalists who I really admire. Yahoo is poised to become the top source for cutting-edge news coverage, and I’m confident I’ll bring similarly strong content to Beauty and Lifestyle coverage. I’m honored to be joining such an impressive roster.”

Yahoo’s new beauty page is expected to go ‘live’ in June. Brown also said she’ll be curating “smart, strong content that will teach women how to be their best selves.”

Although it may seem like a conflict of interest, Brown told WWD that she is approaching the project as a journalist – not to advertise Bobbi Brown Cosmetics – and will cover all brands.
